How Much Does Photo Restoration Cost? (Orlando Pricing Guide)
One of the most common questions I get is simple: how much does photo restoration cost?
The answer depends on the condition of the photo and the level of work required. Here’s a straightforward breakdown based on how I price projects here locally.
Photo digitization pricing
If your photos are still in boxes or albums, digitization is usually the first step.
Photos to digitize: $0.25 per photo
Minimum: 100 photos
Back side capture (handwritten notes, dates): $0.25 per photo
Tagging people / pets: $0.25 per photo
Adding notes / keywords: $0.50 per photo
Digitizing your photos makes them easy to store, share, and preserve before any restoration work is done.
Photo restoration pricing
Light restoration: $10+ per photo
Minor cleanup and small fixes
Moderate restoration: $25+ per photo
Tears, stains, and more noticeable repair work
Extensive restoration: $35+ per photo
Heavy damage, reconstruction, and complex work
Why pricing varies
Every photo is different. Some take a few minutes, others take significantly longer depending on the damage and detail required. Restoration is done manually, so pricing reflects the time and care involved.
Free estimates
If you’re unsure where your photos fall, I offer free estimates. You can send a quick picture or describe your project and I’ll let you know what’s possible and what it would cost.
