Most photograph restoration today is built around speed. Upload your image, receive a corrected file, move on. The process is efficient. But efficiency is not preservation.
When a face is restored by an automated process with no human review, something quiet happens. The bone structure shifts a degree. The expression softens where it was strong. The proportions adjust toward an average that never belonged to that person. The photograph passes a quality check. But the person inside has changed.
That is not restoration. That is replacement.
Romero Imaging was built around a different standard. Technology assists the work—AI can repair stains, reconstruct edges, reduce noise, and recover faded tones. These are things a machine does faster and more consistently than a person working by hand.
